Finding the coin.
Stumbled upon a business opportunity late last night. I've indicated my interest to the relevant parties and am waiting for their okay before I put up my proposition. This would be a nice supplementary income. Plus I love their music so much!
Hope it works out well.

Gross display of emotions
I am deeply disappointed. There is no need to deceive me to protect my feelings. I know what you don't want me to know, and now it is even more painful. It is a risk that you've taken but it has backfired. Everything just doesn't mean anything anymore. I am trying hard to be everything that you want me to be, and it is just so hard because I know what your feelings are like.
We are not stupid, we can see it, and everything you said and practiced in the past is invalid now.
You've made me lie before, and now I understand perfectly why you've done it.
I accept it.

I'm also good at pool what.
Ok lah at least I know now that it's not me who's sucky at pool. I just found out last night that my previous opponent (yes the one I lost to) will be playing in the ladies snooker event in SEA Games this December. Confidence level go up a bit again.
Continue training, harder harder harder you can do it!! Just do it!

Cautious gambling
When I was much younger I used to hang out quite a bit at this snooker center. A bunch of friends hung out there, and every time I drop by, there was always a familiar face. The other attraction was the slot machines available at the snooker center. There were so many types of slot machines there; the queen bee slot machine, the fruits slot machine, the poker machine, etc. It was fun, although an expensive affair. :) After the recent crackdown on illegal slot machines, it was really difficult to find a place for my indulgence
Few years ago I met this guy, let’s just call him Lucas. Lucas studied in
There are so many online casinos out there that it is not easy to differentiate a legitimate online casino from a hoax. Luckily there are sites that offer reviews on casino online so that one does not have to rely on trial and error, and risk getting cheated off their hard earned money.

Out you go!
I'm gonna clean my room today. I'm gonna bag all the clutters that I don't need and dump them out of my life. I will box my books because I'm done reading them for the 29837283th time. Maybe keep them with me to be brought to the future home, or perhaps I can sell all of them at ebay.
I have been getting the most vivid and colourful dreams. They are always so real, and the worst part, they are always bad dreams. I wake up all tense with dry throat, dry eyes, and usually a headache from all the clenching. The other day I dreamt that I killed someone, and then yesterday, I was nearly kidnapped by a family member.

I don't remember...
It's funny getting reacquainted with someone you were close to 10 years ago. Both of you are different people now, and then you wonder what was it that brought on the closeness in the relationship before.
I have been thinking and yet I cannot find the answer. I try to remember all the things that we've done, but all I remember is just our usual routine and the occasional highlights in the period that we were close. I want to recall the things that we've done together, the places we've been, but they just won't come to me. I really want to remember, but I just can't. Do you remember?
I wanted to describe you in Facebook, then I realise that I don't know enough about you to describe you properly, or perhaps I am just so intent on describing the past you, that I am stuck trying to describe you.
I remember things now, and they are good things. All the unpleasant is forgotten, because over time, you just forget. You are a good person, and I wish you well. Nothing but the best.

Special birthday celebrations.
Today is a friend's birthday, so her boyfriend threw a surprise birthday party for her in one of the service apartment in KL and invited all her friends. Few months ago, it was another friend's birthday, and the girlfriend also threw a surprise birthday party for him at another service apartment in town. Is it a trend to throw surprise birthday parties for your loved ones?
My bf's birthday is coming up in a month's time, so I still have ample time to plan something. And I do want to do something nice for him, but the surprise birthday thing has been overdone lah. Some ideas I have for his birthday:-
- Sit down dinner at a nice restaurant with cozy ambience. Every course is planned, and free flow wine. But I can't think of any nice restaurants now and one that is within my budget.
- Book a corner in a trendy bar, invite all his friends. Just open a few bottles, and then his friends can buy him drinks. Pro is that there are waiters and waitresses serving us the whole night, and people can puke in the toilet for all they want.
- Book a service apartment, invite all his friends for an OTT poker night. The guys will be in their sleek suits/tuxedos, and the ladies in their evening gown and feather boa. Oh, don't forget the cigars and martini. Peanuts not allowed. Hmmmm...
- Go for free XXXL milk tea at Wong Kok Cha Chan Teng and freeflow food and drinks. Cheaper somemore.
Still need to brainstorm... something different this year...

Enemy of my enemy is my friend.
We've played 10 games, and lost only once. But yesterday's victory was the best victory that we've had. Because we won as a team. Even though it was a very lose match (3-2), it was sweeter than the ones before. When our teammate were on a disadvantage, our heart sank with them. When they were clearing up, we cheered and supported them.
And when the captain won the third game, we all went totally nuts running around the place. :) Just two more matches next week, but we've already qualified for quarter finals.
The team from Vogue came to support us. They also wanted to check out the scene lah because they didn't want our opponent to win. If our opponent won the game yesterday, then those guys got no more chance to get into the quarterfinals.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend. How true.
I lost my game though. It wasn't so hard for me to accept the loss, because that girl is just too damn bloody good. Accuracy, check. Strokes, check. Strategy, check. Every damn thing is in place. I really hope we don't meet them again after our prelims. Okay, maybe it'll be okay if we meet again. Because I want my revenge!

Bloody internet scam
It's a bloody scam man!!!!!! I won a domain name from this blogging contest, and so had to go choose my preferred domain name. Finally found one that I like at mybusinessresearch.com. So I informed the contest organisers that this is the domain I wanted. Next thing I know, it's gone! The domain is taken!! What is the bloody coincidence that someone would want the same domain name a day after I checked its availability? And now there's just ads there, and I have to choose another one. I'm gonna be more careful this time. Wait till the contest organiser is on MSN with me, check it and get him to register it immediately.
Angry gila babi. Another bloody scam.
Domain name spree.
Buying domain name can be very addictive. Imagine, your credit card detail is saved online, and all you need to do is just click a few times, and you're the owner of another home on the Internet. I've only bought two domain names, but I was very close to buying a few more when I was in the midst of a domain shopping frenzy. Domain names aren't expensive. You can get one at godaddy.com or register.com for USD 9.99. I bought my from Google Blogger, which eventually redirected me to eNom. I think it's quite worth it to buy them from Google Blogger, because for USD 10, you get a domain name, and you also get to hide your whois information from rest of the world. godaddy.com usually charges a certain amount for this additional privacy. I mean, if you're running a porn site, you wouldn't want anyone you know find out, right?
Few weeks ago I nearly blew USD 100 on a stupid subpage on Million Dollar Wiki. Bah, just a bunch of people hyping this thing up, and its success (or the lack of it) isn't even close to the Million Dollar Homepage. The last I checked, Million Dollar Wiki sold only 1000 pages, when they need to sell 10,000 pages. Now they claimed that they've got no time and want to sell the project.
Some other guy thought they can do better and started Million Euro Wiki, and the response was even poorer. Only 72 pages sold. Do techies really have bigger ego behind their monitor shield?
Anyways, thank God I didn't click click click and waste USD 100. With that money I can buy a set of really good brushes.

When one is in trouble, one will offend.
I will never forget the content of an sms that Venerable Manya once sent to me:
"When one is in trouble, one will offend. When one is hurt, one must forgive. Forgiving is not forgiving others. Forgiving is to free ownself to appreciate new opportunity. Those who do wrong, they will be troubled subconsciously. Those who get hurt should feel at ease. We can never forgive others because every one has to pay own debts. So we must stand strong to welcome what good people deserve. If you suffer in pain, you will close door to opportunity. So be strong to move on."
I am sorry that I lost my temper at you yesterday, despite all the attempts that you have made to make me comfortable and to cheer me up. Also, thank you for buying all the food for me, even though I didn't get to eat them in the end.
Am so happy that you did not keep it in your heart because that would totally kill me. I am sorry that I am not well now, but I am getting out of it. I will.

I'm so screwed.
Really feel disturbed. Am I too sheltered or just plain naive? There are so many ugly things happening in this world, and it is a huge contrast to my beliefs and values. I'm just so confused. Was it wrong to initiate contact with rest of the world again? The two times I've gone out have been horrible. Bad things happened at both times, making me so afraid to go out again. Am I just too bloody naive or what? He said me being so idealistic is what makes me so lovable. Is that true or am I screwed for life? I don't know I don't know I really don't know
I really want to see a shrink now.

Birthday Celebrations in Lim Family.
The month of October is always a crazy month for my family. There are 3 birthdays in our family of 7, so we have to have 3 birthday dinners at 3 different restaurants, 3 different birthday ice cream cakes, and the craziest part is shopping for presents for 3 different individuals with different tastes.
The preparation for a birthday in the Lim family starts with ordering of a bouquet of flowers for the birthday girl. The trend in the family is to buy a huge bouquet that is trimmed with fur. Yah, fur. I'm not a fan of it, but my other sisters are crazy about fur. Here is my sister with it. She's gorgeous, the fur is not.
The furry bouquet will be delivered to the house in the afternoon, so that the birthday girl will be 'surprised' by the flower, even though we all *know* it will definitely come.
At night, all 7 of us (5 sisters + mommy + papa) will go out for the birthday dinner. For so many years, the choice of restaurant has always been Thai. My family have this thing about spicy food, you see. Every year we'll say we will have something else other than Thai food, but we'll still end up in a Thai restaurant in One Utama or Midvalley Megamall. Everyone will order a dish, and we will end up ordering way too much for 7 persons. But that doesn't matter, because dessert is dessert, a birthday is still a birthday, and we still need to have our red rubies.
Ok after dinner, some of us might choose to walk around the shopping center we are in, and some of us will choose to go home straight (normally me, am not a fan of window-shopping). When the stores close and everyone is at home, the cake is brought out to the dining table. It's always an ice cream cake. ALWAYS. Most of the time we buy the ice cream cake from Haagen Dazs, and sometimes we give markah kesian to Baskin Robbins and buy the cake from there. Haagen Dazs is definitely more expensive, but we get more value for money because the whole thing is made of ice cream (except the heart shape ones) whereas Baskin Robbins ice cream cake is made of ice cream + cake. Well, I guess you can say my family members are experts in ice cream cakes. To digress a little, Baskin Robbins ice cream cake has improved over the years. The composition of ice cream to cake has increased. :D
Together with the cake we will also have sparkling fruit juice served in crystal wine glass. Haha so funny, drink something so cheap in a glass so expensive. But my family are non drinkers, so we'll just follow the majority lah. Our favourite is the Eva Apple Sparkling Juice. There's the Red Grapes Sparkling Juice and White Grapes Sparkling Juice, but that's just too sweet for us. Anyways, I guess the sparkling juice is to make the occasion more festive-like. Am not sure who started it and its origins though.
When we're done with the cake cutting, its present time! Oops it should be presentS because usually we are bombarded with at least 10 presents. The present opening part is exciting because all you do is guess what's inside boxes and rip the wrappings apart. To wrap the presents up evokes a different emotion altogether.
The thing about buying lots of presents for the birthday girl is the difficulty you will face in choosing presents few years down the road. By then the birthday girl would already have so many things (photo frame lah, decorative crystal lah etc) that you have to think so hard to buy them presents. So this year we had a discussion and came to agreement that we will specify the present that we want, and there will only be ONE present. Easier, definitely. Cheaper, maybe not. Come ask me what I want :D
After all the cutting cake, drinking sparkling juice and ripping presents apart, dad will go to his bedroom, signifying the party is over. Sometimes we sit a bit longer chatting between mom and daughters. When the party is really over, everyone will race to their rooms because nobody wants to clean up the dishes, glasses and clear the wrapping papers. The last two will have to clear the dishes and tidy the whole place up. It's really funny seeing 5 girls racing up the stairs.
Well, this year will be slightly different. Instead of going out, we will have steamboat at home. Instead of having 3 different birthday dinners, we will have only one joint celebration. There will only be ONE present for each of us. I wonder what I should ask for. Actually I already know lah :)
Ok, can't wait till steamboat on Friday. 让我来下厨房. Hahaaahhahahahah

Estella oh Estella
Started reading Great Expectations again. Estella just sent a note to Pip informing him that she's gonna be in London!!!!
Estella is a nice name. In Great Expectations, she is this superhot chick. I think I'm influenced by the movie lah. Gwenneth Paltrow is so hot... I think I'm gonna name my daughter that. Apparently the name means Star in Latin. Superstar, movie star, can. Porn star cannot.
On the other hand, Cassandra means 'she who inflames with love'. OoOo That I do baby, that I do.
Besame... besame mucho...

Internal Combustion
Today's pool training was really stressful. I really don't want to take sides, but I'm being pulled everywhere. I don't understand sometimes what the power struggle is all about. In a company, the Managing Director makes the final decision. If you have any concerns or arguments, all you can do is raise it, but the final decision lies with the MD. It is the same with a team, isn't it. The captain's decision is final.
We have a very good team, and we can win the RM 10k, if only we don't have any internal combustion.
Now I'm being forced to choose who should be the one coaching me. I have 6 teammates, and 5 of them are eager to share their wisdom with me. The problem is everyone have different methods of playing, different strategy, and different ways of teaching. And I'm just being pulled in every direction. I hope it doesn't affect my game. It has improved a lot so far.

Hairspray the movie.
I was told that Hairspray is a very funny movie, so my bf and I decided to catch it at One Utama yesterday night. He said a friend of his raved about the movie, and that it's a must watch. After tarpaoing a hotdog, large serve of chicken balls, cheezels and F&N strawberry, we went into the cinema.
The movie started with a fatty girl (who's also the lead) singing for at least 5 minutes about how much she loves Baltimore. When the girl were singing after about 1.5 minutes into the show, I looked at my bf and told him his friend may have bluffed him into watching a crappy movie. My bf doesn't like musicals. The last musical we caught was a Chinese musical, and he really suffered, trust me. He immediately sent a text message to send some love to his friend who recommended the show to him.
So the fatty girl stopped singing, and I told my bf perhaps this is just the front part, until John Travolta started singing too. Yah, there are a lot of big shots in this movie, John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walker... then there are cute noobs like Amanda Byrnes. James Marsden... all of them sang and danced in the movie. It's really quite a sight to see Michelle Pfeiffer doing the cha cha. I'm in love with her!!!
BTW, John Travolta played a fat woman in Hairspray, superfat and superfunny. The most memorable line from the show has to be from Amanda Byrnes. She fell in love with a black guy, kissed him on TV, and exclaimed "I'm a checkerboard chick!!" I thought that was priceless. She acted so dizzy and cute in the movie, I have to say she's my favourite character!
I really enjoyed Hairspray although my movie partner didn't, and I would recommend this show to the chicks, and to those who love musicals. The songs and the dancings were so contagious! The girls are gorgeous, their dresses and makeups perfect. I will definitely buy the movie soundtrack. That's right, I said BUY the soundtrack, not download it.
My second favourite character in the movie is Michelle Pfeiffer. She's so hot and stuck up and classy. She really a gorgeous babe. I think she's hotter than Jessica Alba.

Dewar's British Pool Tournament
I started playing competitive pool again. This time I'm playing in the big event of the year for British Pool amateurs organised by Dewar's. It's a bit crazy, really. We train at least 2 days in a week, and compete in another 2 days. That's at least 4 days out of 7 days in a week. No wonder some of the wives are complaining. Thank God my bf is understanding.
We are on a winning streak. Never missed a match yet. RM 10k, here we come!!

Oranges and lemons.
I have this nursery rhyme stuck in my head for the last two days. The last I heard the rhyme is probably when I was 7 or 8 years old.
I just need to let it out.
- "Oranges and lemons", say the bells of St. Clement's
- "You owe me five farthings", say the bells of St. Martin's
- "When will you pay me?" say the bells of Old Bailey
- "When will that be?" say the bells of Stepney
- "I'm sure I don't know", says the great bell of Bow
You know how sometimes people read too much into the rhymes and find slurs in nursery rhymes? I'm still trying to figure this one out.
Here is the video from leapnlzrds in youtube, but the version I remember does not have the 'dong, dong, dong, dong', imitating the bell chimes.

The Periodic Table of Booze
I know I've said that I'm gonna drink less, save money, save my livers, yadayada, but this Periodic Table of Booze really kickass!!!! The Periodic Table of Booze poster is selling at USD 13.95. Hardly expensive for something so funky! And I really really loved Chemistry when I was in school, so having the Periodic Table is only so natural.
ohh ohh it's available in multi sizes..
I can just imagine the 69" by 46" (about 5.75 feet X 4 feet) one on my wall at the bar at home. And the ooohhh and ahhhhhss I will get for acquiring such a great decor for my bar. And the envy. hahahaha
Anyone wanna gimme gimme gimme? My birthday is around the corner, and then there's always Christmas.
And to the guys at zazzle.com, this is amazing! :)
My bf's first manicure.
In my 28 years of living, I have only done a manicure and pedicure ONCE. That was many years back when a friend's wife opened a spa and I got some coupons from joining her spa as a member. All I remember is that the pedicure was a torture, because I'm a very ticklish person and cannot stand anyone touching my feet. Even when I go for massages, I would usually ask the masseur to not touch my feet.
Since my bf's fingernails were getting a bit unkempt, I suggested that he go for a manicure at a nail spa near my house. Besides, he would benefit from the human touch. :) It is the one at the same row as Pizza Hut in Taman Tun, behind the Taman Tun market. Being a nail spa in TTDI, I expected the manicure to be quite a pricey affair. To my surprise, it was really affordable. A manicure for men is RM 30, whereas for ladies it is only RM 25. Funny, isn't it, considering that a manicure for ladies includes nail polish, but for male, it is without. I told my bf it is probably because guys got thicker skin, more dead cells on their fingers, more cuticles to cut off, har har
It was his first time going for a manicure. I told him he's a metrosexual. Facials, massages, and now manicure. High maintenance :) Turned out that his good friend goes for manicure as well. Ha ha ha. Men these days... ;)
But seriously, it is really affordable. I mean, RM 25 per session. I can afford that, can't I? All I need to do it drink one jug less a month... then I can be all pretty, prim and proper. Yah, must seriously consider this.
Yay!
His appetite is back! Yay! Thank you thank you thank you! Be ready to fight the world again on Monday.

Girl on girl action
Sometimes I really wonder why are those girls trying to achieve when they kiss another of their girlfriends when out clubbing. Best part is, it has to be captured by a camera. I really doubt they are turned on by the kiss, and I really doubt they are interested in their gfs in that manner since they all have their boyfriends. And it's not because they miss each other, cos they probably see each other every other day. So what is it?
Oh, the best part is, after capturing the girl on girl action with your gfs on a camera, you PUBLISH the photos on whatever social networking or photo sharing website there is.
It's a screwed up trend, man. I've seen them all over Friendster and Multiply, and now its spreading to Facebook. Turned off la, no class. Even homosexuals aren't exhibiting this sort of behaviour.
Destress massage
Today I went for an oil massage at one of those massage parlours in Damansara Uptown with my beloved. He really needed to destress, so I suggested that we pamper ourselves with a massage. The massage parlour that we went to was the red place behind Maybank. It was really difficult to find a parking spot there, but eventually we found one. More add on to the stress.
There were many different traditional massages available, I was surprised. Don't expect to find your normal spa massage variety such as Swedish massage, Hot stone therapy etc. Instead, think of traditional therapies like Scrapping Massage (guasa, it's getting popular), Fire Therapy (with REAL fire), bla bla. I can't remember what else. The point is, the services offered is very different lah.
Anyhow we opted for simple full body oil massage. RM 55 for a one hour massage. The masseurs were all from China, it was quite nice really, cos the Chinese nationals are really polite people. Of course, there are those who are con artists in our country, but let's not get there.
First, we were led the back of the shop to wash our feet. I must say the environment is quite okay lar, dim lights, with fake bamboo trees, gauzy curtains, soothing music. I told my bf that it's no wonder Malaysia can't make it in the tourism industry. Simple example, in Thailand, you get to soak your feet in a wooden pail with warm water sprinkled with rose salt, with flower petals. Here in Malaysia, mana ada we wanna go so far. We are practical people, so cold water and rose salt is sufficient.
Later we were shown into the room. It was simple, two massage board (those with a hole at the top for you to put your head when facing down), and just curtains. At first my bf requested for a male masseur, and me, a female. In the end we decided to go for two female masseurs instead, as he didn't quite like the idea of the Chinese dude seeing me naked. I normally take quite long to break into my relaxed mode, and it was made worse by the noise and commotion behind the shoplot, near Maybank, I assume. Some riot, perhaps? Or just the trade union people picketing to the bank? Am not too sure. But that was a total turn off. Imagine you're trying to relax with some hot Chinese chick rubbing oil all over your body, and then there's those new age music that's supposed to cool you down, and you just can't because these bunch of people out there just couldn't stop chanting. I kept praying that they will stop soon, because I really wanted my bf to get the most out of this massage. He needed to relax, and eventually, thank God, the chanting stopped.
The massage was pretty good, but I don't think we will be going back to the place. It's just too noisy. Those familiar with Uptown area would know that the place is congested as hell, and it sure isn't very relaxing to be having a massage with cars honking all over the place with all the double parkings.
I couldn't help wondering and discussing with my bf whether the Chinese girls give special services...
Also, it was not me who snored, it was the other guy :( And... yah, I think we should go for a longer massage next time. We would enjoy a 1.5 hour massage more than going for two 1 hour massages. I take longer to break in..
I'm falling......

It's a language thing.
In Kuala Lumpur, most of the people around me speak English as their main language, while their mother tongue is only used at home. My Malay friends speak English outside, Malay + English at home, my Chinese friends, English and Cantonese outside, and various Chinese dialects at home (Hokkien, Hakka, Mandarin, Hock Chew, etc), and my Indian friends speak English outside, and maybe a little dialect at home (am not sure, but my close Indian friends speak mainly English at home).
As for me, I speak English and Cantonese (and a little Malay with people from work) when I'm out, and at home, I speak mainly Mandarin plus a little bit of English here and there. My mom refuse to speak English to me btw, but her favourite English word is 'regret' (private joke).
Has anyone noticed that speaking your mother tongue is somewhat more... intimate? When I first met my bf, we communicated in English, but nowadays we speak a lot of Mandarin. When I asked him how come we do that these days, his reply is "Well, you started speaking to me in Mandarin so I just reply in Mandarin lor". But seriously, it feels more intimate to me when we discuss stuff in Mandarin. It feels as if we connect better. But sometimes get a bit worried that people might think we are ahbeng couple also lah.
There are stories that you just have to tell in your mother tongue. The story that I would like to tell right now may not make so much sense in English, but it will, if I tell it in Mandarin. An intimate story, that goes like this...
When I was younger, dad used to work 2 jobs. He came back real late every night, and would be dead tired. All he could do is just have some leftover from dinner time and continued working. But there are times when he would be too pooped to do anything else, and he would lie on his bed. And he would call out to either my second sister or I, "Come, bang papa chui jiao", which is loosely translated into "Come help knock papa's legs".
Chui Jiao is when you crunch your knuckles up as if you were gonna punch someone, and then you repeatedly knock knock knock on the calve area and the thigh area with the appropriate strength, so that it doesn't hurt and the person receiving the knocks will feel more relaxed.
I think Dad drank a lot of cold water when he was young, that is why he frequently had aching legs or 'jiao suan'. Perhaps it was also because he was overweight back then, and the aches were due to the body weight that his legs had to support. Anyways he is at the optimum weight and is healthier now than he did 15 years back.
I remember, when we had to 'chiu jiao'. Knock knock knock 10 minutes left calf, 10 minutes left thigh, move to on 10 minutes right calf, and then 10 minutes right thigh. That was pretty tiring for a 12 year old, or in my er jie's case, for an 8 year old to handle. I remember having to do that too when we were at popo's place in Bentong. I remember that recliner made out of multi coloured plastic ropes. Funny isn't it the things you actually store in your mind. Come to think about it, I think those trips were probably one of those few times that Dad got to really rest. He worked hard, yes he did.
Eventually (after 1-2 years) Dad no longer suffered from this leg ache, so we didn't have to chui jiao anymore.
Mom also suffered from fongsap back then. Whenever it was gonna rain, every part of her body would be aching. Mom's body suffering lasted longer than dad did. Even till today, she still need her daughters to massage parts of her body with some chinese herbal medicinal alcohol. Instead of knocking, we dripped few drops of the medicine on the part that was aching, and we would rub and rub and rub. Thank God there is 5 of us now. It's funny how ungrateful one can be when young. I remember we used to hate it when Mom asked us to massage her. We would give all sort of excuses, and like the ungrateful daughters that we were, grumbled grumbled and grumbled. I'm really sorry for grumbling and giving you the impression that I was not willing to do my duties as your daughter, Mom. Anyways, eventually we all all grew up, and the younger daughters took over the task of massaging Mom when she's in pain. Now we do 'guasa' too, but that's a story for another day.
I stopped massaging Mom for at least 10 years, but recently I 'guasa'ed for her. It felt real good.... I just did it again just now. :) Two times now, can't wait for more.
Don't get the point of the story? It's a language thing.

Convertible pool cum dining table.
I want a pool table. Kenny from Wine@Nine told me that the winner of the in house 9 ball tournament wants to sell the new 9 foot pool table that he won. And the best part is, he's looking to sell at about RM5000 - RM 6000. Only! And it's a brand new pool table!
Hmm... forgot to ask him whether it comes with balls, cues, rack, rest, chalk etc.
Will it fit in the dining room? Then maybe we can just cover the pool table up with a piece of plank and just convert it into a dining table. Oh, can throw a table runner on it too... or maybe not, there won't be any leg space.
I really want a pool table :( I've always wanted a pool table. I know it doesn't seem practical especially in such a small house, but if I can get out of those convertible pool tables.... that would be excellent. I know Aramith came out with two lines (metal line, and wooden line) of convertible pool tables called Fusion tables. And the best part is they look really simple and sexy, and they fit right in the minimalist theme that many homeowners adopt these days.
Here it is...

And tadaaaaa
I want the metal pool table.... then I can play everyday and be really good, and then my kids can start playing when they are still young and eventually be the World Pool Champion!
I don't know how much it costs, but am sure it will be at least RM 15,000- RM 20,000. Why can't the local manufacturers make a convertible pool cum dining table that is cheap and looks great as well?
My sister the red tape creator.
Hahahahahhaa
My baby sister is the cutest!
She's currently having her 'gerak gempur' exams now, some pre SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) prep test. Since she's turning 17 soon, and the legal driving age in Malaysia is 17, I asked her when will she go take her driving test. Her answer to me was "No time. Gotta study real hard." I thought, wah, my sister so hardworking. So tai sek.
So my wifi is screwed today, and I was fiddling with the main computer outside, aka the public computer that everyone can use, but nowadays its only used by my baby sister since everybody has a laptop these days. And on the computer I found a million windows opened... with all this...

- Jolin Tsai MTV Makings
- Hotels in Langkawi
- Forum on choosing hotels in Langkawi (She's planning a trip to Langkawi with her friends)
- Her Multiply Site
- Other websites that I cannot remember.
But the best part is this.... a 'Rules & Regulations Sheet cum Permission Form for Langkawi Trip'!!!!! She's planning to go for a holiday in Langkawi with her friends, and she's creating a PERMISSION FORM that parents must sign!!!
hahahahhahahahahahhahaha babygirl.... I'm really worried about what the government school is doing to you....? what's this bureacracy, girl...
And I repeat her reason for not taking the driving test, "No time. Gotta study real hard."
hahahhahahahahahhahah

hahahahahhahahahahahahahahah
I have a good mind to put the form up for download. Then other people who needs the form can save some time..
hahahahhahahahhahahahah I'm so mean..
BTW, Jolin Tsai's next concert will be in Malaysia. The location? Uncle Lim's playground, Genting Highland Arena of Star in December 2007. My 4 sisters, all of whom are Jolin's fan will definitely be going...
